Sonzogni Camme
Alessandro Bellini – Finance Manager “Our decision to employ Elelco, a company we became close partners with, and use Elelco-Plus Manufacturing allowed our Company to be provided with an ERP system able to accomplish our actual needs in compliance with our existing “modus operandi”.
SONZOGNI CAMME was founded in 1964 and has since then been specializing more and more in the field of products for the textile industry, in particular in the production of flat and cylindrical cams, and thread plate cylinders. Later on, the company diversified itself and concentrated on a globoidal cam system called ROTOBLOK®, whose target is represented by several fields in industrial automation (food, footwear, paper, pharmaceutical and mechanical products, printing and packaging materials). In addition, this essential line of products was accompanied by the manufacture of globoidal cams whose target was the sector of machine tools and, in particular, tool replacement, mechanical hands, pallet replacement and special tailor-made groups.
The Elelco Project
The project involved the implementation of Elelco-Plus Manufacturing in order to – initially – accomplish the needs in the Finance Area and – later on – comply with the requirements in the following areas: management control, inventory management, material flow management, stock management, bills of materials, production cycles, purchase and sales orders. In addition, Sonzogni Camme was looking for an open-minded and proactive supplier, ready to establish a partnership overcoming the classic client/supplier relation and put itself in the company’s place to comply with the group needs.
The Elelco-Plus Manufacturing modules implemented for Sonzogni Camme were the following: Accounting, Income Sources, Agents, Active Cycle and Passive Cycle, Inventory & Logistics, Management and Production Control. The partnership between Elelco and Sonzogni allowed the latter to be provided with a custom made ERP system capable of complying with its own needs without turning its modus operandi upside down.
ELELCO-Plus Manufacturing is installed at Elelco’s DATA CENTRE and is supplied in OUTSOURCING mode.
